I’m guessing you’ve changed the way you consume home entertainment in the last few years.  Meaning…you don’t “rewind” before you take your movie rental back to the store. If that even happens.

It’s more likely that you’re returning a rented disc to a Redbox Kiosk or perhaps you’re never even leaving the comfort of your home and are renting from your local cable provider, iTunes or Amazon.

That is of course when you’re not watching subscription entertainment from say Hulu or Netflix.

THANKFULLY, we have many new options for consuming home entertainment. But did you know that the same is true for consuming quality, proven in home (or on the go) health and fitness solutions?

Beachbody, the unquestionable LEADER in in-home fitness, launched Beachbody on Demand in March of 2015. As I’ve covered in this comprehensive Beachbody on Demand review, you can access streaming content from ANYWHERE you have access to WiFi OR a cell signal, WiFi being preferred.

EVEN BETTER is that you can download up to 7 workouts to be viewed  OFFLINE with the Beachbody on Demand iPhone/iPad app (that your Team Beachbody Coach connects you with) in the event you expect limited connectivity.

You can complete your workouts ANYWHERE… be it in your living room, looking over the South rim of the Grand Canyon, in your NYC hotel room or local gym. You can access the content on your phone, tablet, desktop PC, laptop or even on your 60 inch TV with a 4th generation or higher Apple TV device, Roku or Chromecast. There are several options to get connected that best fit your circumstances.

Beachbody has been the leader in at home fitness for more than a decade and now Team Beachbody Club Members will not only be able to access TONS of great streaming Beachbody titles in their entirely at home, but also on the ROAD.

What is Beachbody on Demand Premium Content?

Premium Content you see depends on the application on which you are using Beachbody on Demand. It’s a little confusing currently…but stick with me. 🙂

GENERALLY, it will consist of top rated, newer programs that are NOT available in full in the Member Library.  BUUUUUT, if you have purchased one of the listed programs (Core de Force, CIZE, 21 Day Fix, Country Heat, INSANITY Max:30, 22 Minute Hard Corps, Body Beast) you will have FULL ACCESS to the streaming version of the program on any device you are accessing Beachbody on Demand.

BUT, ALL premium Team Beachbody Club Members will still be able to SAMPLE one of the workouts from the premium content list when they log in to their Team Beachbody Customer Account. Even if you have NOT purchased the program.

The plan is to roll out Beachbody on Demand “digital unlocks” for many programs featured as premium content. As I describe below, a Digitial Unlock is a digital only version of a workout program that you’ll retain access to so long as you continue as a Premium Team Beachbody Club Member. See below for more details on availability for the current digital unlocks.

6 Tips for Summer Fitness

Summer is amazing…especially for us folk that live in the the middle of the country who get to endure December – February. 🙂

For us, summer means outside time, kids home from school, frequent grilling, later nights and the choice to sleep in a lil later. It means pool time, lots of fresh fruits and veggies, and baseball games. It means more opportunities to socialize with friends and family.

Maybe this sounds like your summer.

BUT, it also means we still keep our long term and short term health and well-being top of mind. Here are a few strategies that seem to work for us that we hope you’ll enjoy.

#1 Reevaluate your schedule

With more opportunities for fun and changes to work and school schedules it might be time to evaluate if your regular workout times have to change or if your grocery and planning days have to change. For us, workout times have moved from late morning or late afternoon to earlier in the morning. Either way it remains a priority and DOES NOT get pushed to the back burner because our routine changes.

#2 Renew your focus on water intake

With the rising humidity and rising outside temps…and a more active outside lifestyle the importance of proper water intake becomes even more important. Keep your tumbler or Tervis full, or have a water bottle on hand most of the time. Again, as we’ve shared with our Online Challenge Jump Start groups a good rule of thumb for daily water consumption is to divide your current weight in pounds in HALF and drink that many ounces of water daily. So, for example, a 180 lb. person would want to drink at least 90 ounces of water each day.

#3 Focus on consuming fresh, seasonal, hydrating foods
