Shakeology Recipe Ideas | The Graues

I combined two of my favorite things for a tasty, nutrient-dense caffeinated morning meal.

Starbucks coffee and Vegan Chocolate Shakeology.

I use to put a few teaspoons of coffee grounds in a shake on occasion, but the Starbucks VIA ready brew instant coffee tastes AWESOME with less grittiness. Such a great find!!

Anyhow, here’s how I made it:

1 cup unsweetened almond milk
1/4 cup of water (or a little more)
1 1/2 cups of chopped ice
1 full scoop Vegan Chocolate Shakeology
1 packet of Starbucks Pike Place VIA ready brew instant coffee

Just blend it up and enjoy.

IT’S FOOTBALL SEASON….SO, IT’S CHILI SEASON!!! Here’s a tasty Black Bean Chili Recipe. Enjoy, and please feel free to share it.

Here’s what you need:

1/2 red bell pepper, finely diced
1/2 green bell pepper, finely diced
1 medium red onion, diced
2 gloves of garlic, finely diced
1 lb. of ground turkey, lean ground beef or venison
1 46 ounce can of tomato juice (low sodium, if possible)
1 28 ounce can of Whole tomatoes with juice
1 15 ounce can of Black beans, drained and rinsed
1 15 ounce can of REFRIED Black Beans ( 1 cup of water
1 1/2 TBSP chili powder
1 TBSP ground cumin
1 TBSP extra virgin olive oil

PiYo Review. Do More.

I will be the first to tell you that I am by no means a fitness fanatic. I still have to talk myself into pushing play and I sometimes miss a workout or two or more. All I know is that I always feel amazing after it’s over! In addition to the long list of health benefits of exercising, I feel stronger, leaner, more confident, more flexible, and HAPPIER when I do it. The above picture is me doing my thing during my PiYo workout this morning after way too many missed workouts than I’d like to admit. The best part about it was that all it took was one workout and I’m hooked again ☺

What an incredible summer Katie and I were able to spend with the kids. So many memories and fun times. It’s TIME FREEDOM, freedom to choose how to plan and spend each day, that excited us MOST when we decided that we were going to be successful as coaches. We’re already excited for the #grauesummer2015…and I hope you are making BIG PLANS, TOO! We only have so many summers with our kids!!
